1. Vacuum the rug thoroughly before starting
Before any wet cleaning, it’s essential to remove as much surface dust and dirt as possible.
Vacuum the rug on both sides.
If possible, hang it up and gently beat it to loosen embedded dust.

2. Prepare a homemade cleaning solution
